<p>PURPOSE:To attain the production at a low cost of a rotor or a frictionally contacting fixing member of an electromagnetic coupling device having a good wear proof without necessitating very tightly restricted dimensional tolerances between components members by a simplified process. CONSTITUTION:An outer annular magnetic sintered member 18a and an inner annular magnetic sintered member 18b are separately produced in a conventional powder metallurgy method. Both magnetic sintered members 18a, 18b are first placed in concentrical relation-ship, and then a preshaped compressed body of powder to be later formed into a nonmagnetic member is inserted into an annular spacing 18c defined by and between both sintered members 18a, 18b and finally the entire block is sintered so that both magnetic sintered members 18a, 18b are integrally combined by the sintered nonmagnetic member 19 and a sintered friction member 20 to thus complete the production of a rotor or a frictionally contacting fixing member of an electromagnetic coupling device.</p> |
