METHOD AND SYSTEM OF CONTINUOUS CONTROL OF THE POSITION OF AN ACTUATOR FOR CHANGING THE COMPRESSION RATE OF A THERMIC ENGINE

The control system allows continuous adjustment of the position of an actuator jack used to change the compression rate of a heat engine, with mechanical-type regulation. A source of pressurised fluid (S) is linked to a circuit to allow movement of the jack (2) in two opposing directions. A servo-control device (4) connected to the jack (2) includes means of distribution (V) of fluid to control the position of a mobile element of the jack (21). A lever (3) articulated with the mobile element of the jack (21) in an initial articulation point (31) includes a second articulation point (32) with a mobile control unit (40) in transfer controlling the means of distribution (v). The lever (3) is able to turn around the initial articulation point (31) via the action of control means (1) moving the driver assembly (12) of the lever (3), connected to a third articulation point (33) at the opposite end.
