PURPOSE:To always ensure the exact angagement between guide pins of a press and guide holes formed through a beltlike plate and the fixation of the plate on the press, by providing each guide pin, which has a tapered surface, slidably on a press against a spring and by causing said guide pin to extend through a guide hole under the influence of the resilient force of said spring. CONSTITUTION:An upper die 3a presses down the beltlike plate 1 syncronously with each interruption of the intermittent feeding motion of the plate 1 beeing fed intermittently in a direction indicated by an arrow. Here, guide holes 2 engages with slidable guide pins 4 of the upper die segments 3a-1 to 3a-5 respectively, because of their respective springs 7. Therefore, an impact force applied to the peripheral of each guide hole 2 is weaken and the edge portion of the hole 2 is prevented from damage as much as possible. Furthermore, even if a guide hole 2 has a slight distortion, an exact engagement of the guide pin 4 and guide hole 2 can be always achieved and the plate 1 is fixed surely on the press because the guide pin 4 has a tapered surface 4a, thereby stamping out the plate 1 accurately. |
