PURPOSE:To thicken effectively a low-viscosity compsn. consisting mainly of a low- molecular oligomer such as paint, print ink, adhesive, by a method wherein a small amount of polyalkylenepolyamine is added to the compsn. CONSTITUTION:A low-viscosity compsn. consisting mainly of a low-molecular oligomer can effectively be thickened by the addition of a small amount of polyalkylenepolyamine having repeating structural unit of the formula (wherein n is an integer of 6-30; R is H, 1-25C alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, aryl and derivative thereof). It is preferred to use polyalkylene-polyamine having a number- average MW of 500-20000. |
