<p>PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a bearing in a great extent by correcting an unequality in the load distribution in the circumferential direction of thrust bearing due to the elastic deformation of swash plate by providing a coil spring at a place separated at a given angle in the rotating direction of the swash plate. CONSTITUTION:By means of the moment preliminary load M2 of the coil spring 21 held inside the holding hole 2b provided at a place separated at a given angle in the rotating direction of the swash plate 2, the load applied in the thrust direction of the swash plate 2 during the operation of a compressor is made to be applied to each roller of the thrust bearings 18a and 18b, whereby the maximum load to be applied to each roller of the thrust bearings 18a and 18b is reduced greatly as compared with those without the spring 21. Thus, the durability of the thrust bearings 18a and 18b is greatly raised and also the loss of power during the rotation of the swash plate due to poor rotation of the bearings 18a and 18b is greatly reduced.</p> |
