The skate has a board carried by rollers (2) at the front and a driving friction roller (3) at the back. The front rollers are in the form of caps which are convex on the outside. Their axles of rotation are inclined to the horizontal so that their meeting point would be in the plane of symmetry of the skate and above the board. The distance between the caps on the ground is less than the distance separating them at the top. They have circular coaxial notches on their outer faces to prevent skidding.
