<p>The shutter has an upstream face (1) and downstream face (2) separated by partition (7). The upstream face has a cut out (3) to accommodate the pipe. The two plates unclamp under the cut-out to allow conduit entry, a supple joint (4) is adapted to the exterior of the conduit and then locking bolt (6) is pulled up tight to hold the conduit in place. The length of the casting is altered by female clips (12) in the ribbed extension plates riding in male clips (10) in the shutters and being locked by clips (11), while a waterproof seal is provided around the shutter by vertical plastics joints (8).</p> |
