<p>The harvesting machine is mounted on a straddle tractor, detaching fruit and particularly grapes in a virtually unharmed state. It has rigid rubber blades driven by a mechanism round a rectangular path and mounted on horizontal supports. The blade-support shaft can be horizontal and parallel to the row of vines, running in bearings at each end. The bearings can be parallel to each other and inclined to the shaft. Three of the four bearings are freely mounted pignons and the four is a pignon driven by an hydraulic motor.</p> |
