PURPOSE:To accomplish a stable obtaining of the counting rate in the measurement results regardless of any change in the ambient temperature by attaching a temperature compensation circuit to the high voltage power source of the photoelectric multiplier in the measurement circuit system. CONSTITUTION:A scintillator SL is optically combined to a photoelectric multiplier PM and the light converted from a radiant entering the scintillator SL is converted into a photoelectric current with the multiplier PM to be multiplied. The number of the input pulse per unit time of the electric signal is counted with a pre-amplifier PA and a counting rate meter CR and the result of the counting is fed to the display for indication. In this case, the output of the temperature compensation circuit TC is fed to the high voltage power source PS to vary the output V of the power source is changed in response to the temperature variation.
