A method for manufacturing a magnetron negative electrode structure is provided to offer high welding strength between a hat and a filament by using a ring-shape fusing material, and improve qualities of a magnetron used in a microwave oven. A method for manufacturing a magnetron negative electrode structure includes the steps of: mixing an iron powder, a molybdenum powder, and a binder to provide an Fe/Mo weight ratio of 25-55:75-45; molding the mixture in a fusing material form; putting the molded fusing material(24,27) on a predetermined position of a molybdenum hat(22,26); performing heating under a hydrogen atmosphere in a sintering furnace at 1200-1500 °C for 40 hours or more to attach the sintered fusing material to the molybdenum hat; and assembling the fusing material-adhered molybdenum hats and filaments(23) in predetermined positions, followed by heating the assembled structure to melt the fusing material and put the hats and the filaments together.
