The device is intended for signalling systems for converter protection, as well as for protective system of current source branches. The magnetically controlled contact holding during normal operations of the converter is prevented by a protective circuit with a reed switch (1), spaced equally from both conductors (2, 3). This ensures that the magnetic fields due to each conductor mutually cancel each other. The reed switch and the adjacent conduct are surrounded by a magnetic shield (6) with movable parts (7). The reed switch is in the supply circuit of a coil (8) of a relay, the contacts (10) of shunt the reed switch.
