PURPOSE:To reduce the requirement for dielectric strength of switching transistor, by using a coil in place of the converter transformer of DC-CD converter used as the power supply use in the horizontal output circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the DC input voltage V1 is fed between the input terminal 53 and the terminal 50, rectangular wave is fed to the base 54 of the transistor 52 to conduct the transistor 52 and electromagnetic energy is stored in the coil 51. Further, this energy is fed to the smoothing capacitor 56 via th diode 55 at non- conduction. Further, if the power supply voltage V1 or the load 58 is fluctuated, this variation is detected and the ratio of conduction period of input rectangular wave at the base terminal 54 of the switching transistor 52 is changed via the means applying a suitable modulation according to the amount of detection, allowing to keep the output voltage VL produced at the output terminal 57 as a constant value. |
