<p>A display unit for small advertisements is in the form of a cabinet located in a public place. Entry of cards is coin-controlled. The cards (12) are entered through a slot in the side of the cabinet (1) and locate on clips (11) supported on a continuous toothed belt (6) that passes over a number of gear wheels (4, 5) and rollers (8). When a card is inserted into the unit a handle may be operated to move the card through one increment. Simultaneously, the last card on the belt is removed and is deposited in a discharge chute (20).</p> |
