PURPOSE:To solve a problem of curling occurring later in a transfer sheet as retaining the characteristics of stripping belt method, by bringing a stripping roller in contact with a photosensitive drum surface with pressure in stripping a transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A toner image is transferred from photosensitive drum 1 surface to transfer sheet P, the end of sheet P is separated at the transfer position of this image formation apparatus from the drum 1 surface, stripping belt 5 for guiding sheet P in the rotation direction of stripping roller 6 is provided. When stripping sheet P, transfer roller 6 and drum 1 are brought in pressure contact with drum 1 to permit both to carry out line contact and to have sufficient holding and carrying force even after the rear end of sheet P has passed through the roller for sending sheet P. |
