<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a superior large size original printing plate, by diving an original pattern into plural enlarged partial original plates by photography, applying these partial original plates to a base sheet in a combined continuous state, and printing them on a photosensitive material using a diffusing sheet. CONSTITUTION:Partial original plates 3a, 3b having parts 2a, 2b made by enlarging patterns 2 of original 1 to a finished print size are photographed with a contact screen inserted so as to overlap part of pattern 2 in each partial plate 3a, 3b. Plates 3a, 3b are superposed and cut at division line A' corresponding to optional division line A of original 1 to form halftone original plates 3a1, 3b1, and they are applied to layout base sheet 4 so as to form pattern 2. Applied sheet 4 is placed on glass plate G of a printer with diffusing sheet D between, and exposed to light from the side of plate G to print single pattern 2 on photosensitive material 5, thus obtaining enlarged original printing plate 5'. A superior original plate capable of producing seamless prints is obtained by dividing and enlarging an original when a large size original plate is difficult to be made by enlarging a nondivided original.</p> |
