PURPOSE:To form a jet orifice with correctly arranged pitch and pointing and with excellent shape by a method wherein the resin is injected after the position of the ink-jet orifice for a piezo element is set by a wire and a mold member and the hollow space made by drawing the wire is used as the ink-jet orifice. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that the position of an ink-jet orifice to a piezo element 1a is set by using a wire 3 and a mold member 2, the resin is injected in the space inside an injection mold 4 indicated by a dotted slant line and hardened. Next, the upper end part of the wire 3 is removed, the wire 3 is cut off at the lower surface part 4a of the bottom plate of the injection mold 4, and the resin body is taken out from the mold 4. Furthermore, the surface part of the resin having been in touch with the upper surface 4b of the bottom plate of the mold 4 is finished to be smooth, in the state of being fixed with the wire 3, by gringing and then all wires are pulled away. The space in the resin body left by the wire is the ink-jet orifice. And, the mold member 2 be pulled away, a multinozzle-type ink-jet head with ink-jet orifices correctly arranged is obtained. |
