Lightweight armoured vehicle - has heavily armoured central compartment for personnel engine and transmission, and lighter armoured cladding

The light weight armoured vehicle has a body which houses the engine and transmission, and seats for personnel. The body is pref. in two main parts, the central part being heavily armoured. A lighter armour cladding encloses the main body, front and rear. The lower side walls and ends of the main compartment are pref. sloping.
