#CMT# #/CMT# The winder has a cable forming unit e.g. cable (2), wire or strap, wound in a case (1) and made of metallic material. A braking and/or blocking unit blocks and/or brakes unwinding of the cable by rapid triggering, and is provided with a rotary cam system. A sheath (4) covers a part of length of the cable such that the sheath is slid with respect to the cable during fall at the right of a sharp edge when the sheath is contacted with the edge. The sheath is extended from 40 centimeter to 60 centimeter in length wise manner. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Automatic return cable winder for protecting an object or a person against fall from height. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The sheath protects the cable against premature wear out by friction with an abrasive material of the sharp edge, in case of fall during passage via the sharp edge arranged between horizontal and vertical sections, thus ensuring better safety of the winder while obtaining safe maintenance of loading of the object or person.
