PURPOSE: To obtain the subject tire having a balance between performances and economic efficiency, comprising each carcass ply containing a rubberized layer of a specific load bearing polyamide monofilament. CONSTITUTION: This pneumatic radial tire comprises each layer of at least one carcass ply wound on the circumference of at least one pair of bead parts. The layer contains a rubberized layer of load bearing polyamide monofilament having >=100, preferably 2,000-2,500 denier and >=7.0 g/denier, preferably 8-14 g/denier toughness. The tire is especially suitable for passenger cars or lightweight trucks. |
