MONITORING DEVICE FOR TRIP CIRCUIT OF CIRCUIT BREAKER

An apparatus for monitoring a breaker trip circuit is provided to accurately detect disconnection of a trip coil and an error of a breaker trip circuit by using two binary outputs. A first detection part(30) includes a first resistor(R1) and a first switching device(32). The first resistor is parallel connected to a protective relay a contact point(20) of a positive power terminal(P) of a DC power(15) of a protective distribution panel. A second switching device is connected to a rear end of the first resistor. A second detection part(40) includes a second resistor(R2) and a second switching device(42). The second resistor is parallel connected to a breaker a contact point(CB-a) of a rear end of the protective relay a contact point. The second switching device is connected to the rear end of the second resistor. A signal processing unit(50) outputs a signal corresponding to state information of a breaker trip circuit after receiving an output signal of the first detection part and the second detection part.
