<p>A feed device to transport food, such as stacks of flat waffles to a waffle cutting machine, consists of a worktable with a slot. A hinged drive bar which runs in this slot is attached to a block carried by a top strand of an endless chain driven by a motor. A wedge below the slot, fixed to the table, or a sliding element above it, can be used to tip the drive pin for the return journey under the worktable, after a limit switch has stopped the run. This feed device has a high output and saves time required for maintenance because it suffers little from wear.</p> |
