Flooding device for normally dry fire sprinkler line - using parallel magnetic valves hydraulically opposed, responsive to loss of electrical supply

The flooding device is for a dry line in a fire sprinkler system. It is associated with the valve block for the line which includes a pilot magnetic valve (MV1) and a second parallel magnetic valve (MV2). The latter is hydraulically opposed to the pilot magnetic valve (MV1) to close the valve block if the supply fails, so that the line remains dry to prevent freezing. Pref. the valve block incorporates temp. sensors, for signalling or simulating an interruption in the energy supply with both valves opened upon a total failure of the external electrical supply.
