PURPOSE:To increase extrusion quantity of resin with complete kneading by a method wherein a large diameter member and a small diameter member are provided for a kneading cylinder and a kneading screw respectively with the gradual reduction of kneading area as extending from the base of a kneading cylinder to the point thereof. CONSTITUTION:A large diameter member and a small diameter member are respectively provided for the internal periphery of a kneading cylinder 1 and the external periphery of a kneading screw 2, at the point B of the cylinder 1, the large diameter member 3 or the small diameter member 4 of the cylinder 1 being positioned corresponding to the large diameter member 5 or the small diameter member 6 of the screw 2, allowing the corresponding member thereof to lag gradually as extending to the base member A of the cylinder 1. Consequently, at the base side A of the cylinder 1, the cross section area of the coarse kneading member 8 formed at the large diameter member and the fine kneading member 9 formed at the small diameter member are reuded gradually as extending to the point B of the cylinder 1. This enables to knead completely the resin by reducing gradually the cross section area thereof and increase the speed of the screw. |
