PURPOSE:To automatically stop the original in the position corresponding to its size by controlling the intermediate stopping means in the original conveying path according to the sizes of the sheet original. CONSTITUTION:The size of the original 2 being conveyed is detected by a size detecting switch 41 and according to its detection signal, the energizing of solenoids 29, 30 is controlled so that either of the end parts 26, 27 of an intermediate stopper 24 contacts original placement glass 17 or both of these do not contact the same. As a result of this, the original 2 is accurately and automatically stopped in the position by either of the stopper 18, end parts 27, 26 according to the size of the original without consuming wasteful time and it is discharged after the end of exposure. |
