PURPOSE:To enable working in the case that the distance between the wall of a recess and a groove is small, by providing a wire guiding plate which has a guiding part to guide an electrode wire. CONSTITUTION:A lower wire guiding plate 22 is secured by a fixation bolt 21 and a stopper 13c on the front end of the horizontal part 13b of a supporting member 13 whose bent part is fitted with a guiding roller 20. The lower wire guiding plate 22 is made of sapphire or the like which has an electric insulating property and a wear-resisting property. A guiding groove 22a of V-shaped cross section is provided on a part of the peripheral surface of the guiding plate to guide an electrode wire 2. One half of the thickness t of the lower wire guiding plate 22 is made smaller than the distance B between the wall of a recess 14c and a groove 18. The side face of the lower wire guiding plate 22 is shaped like a boat. |
