The dirigible balloon has a fuselage with an attachment point (2) for a concentrated load (10), situated under the front third of the fuselage. The fixed loads, e.g. the driving engines (9) can be mounted at the rear, typically on the rigid tail assembly (8) which is in turn supported on inflated tubes (6,7) forming ribs extending from the rear of the hull. The load attachment point can be secured to a rigid structure of between 0.2 and 0.5 times the diameter of the hull, and attached by internal suspension ropes to the envelope assembly.
|
