<p>Bread materials are partly or completely impregnated with liq. or liquefiable flavour-carrying compsns., including meltable materials which re-solidify after impregnation. Pref. wholemeal bread is chocolate-impregnated but the process can be used for impregnating any bread or biscuit material, e.g. with toffee, processed cheese, etc. The taste contrast between bread and a filler compsn. is retained while mfg. process is simplified.</p> |
