Hot gas heating system - has column through which gases flow upwards and fluid downwards to heat exchanger

The heating system is designed to generate a current of hot combustion gas. This gas then warms a heat-exchange circuit transmitting the heat to the user unit. The system includes a filler body column (5) in which the gases flow upwards, and which is moistened by heat-exchange fluid flowing downwards in it. This fluid is collected at the base of the column and passed through a heat-exchanger (13) in the opposite direction to the medium in the user circuit (14).
