PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum dot protective film having excellent barrier properties, and capable of obtaining high luminescence for a long period of time when a backlight is configured and obtaining an excellent external appearance for a long period of time when a display is configured, and a quantum dot film including the quantum dot protective film, and also to provide a backlight unit capable of obtaining high luminescence and an excellent external appearance when employed in a display.SOLUTION: A first quantum dot protective film 1 includes: a first barrier film 10 including a silica vapor deposition layer; and a first diffusion layer 22. The silica vapor deposition layer has O/Si ratio of 1.7-2.0 in atomic ratio. The silica vapor deposition layer has a refractive index of 1.5-1.7. In all of wavelength 450 nm, wavelength 540 nm and wavelength 620 nm, the first quantum dot protective film 1 has reflectance of 10%-20%, and transmittance of 80%-95%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
