Chromatographic sepn. of anions and cations - using two sepn. one concn. and one suppression column

The chromatographic sepn. and for the quantitative analysis of anions and cations in a single system uses a first resin column to dissolve a weak ion which is passed to a conductimeter. The strong ions are passed with a developed reagent through a second resin column to dissolve these ions during the elution. A third resin column passes only the dissolved strong ions which are then directed to a conductimeter cell. Method is suitable for very low levels and is ideal for water supply monitoring in conjunction with a contamination check, also for body fluids and beverages.
