Disclosed are an authentication method, a transaction medium, an authentication medium, and a financial transaction system for a financial transaction. The authentication method for a financial transaction comprises: a step in which a transaction medium, which requests for a financial transaction, acquires authentication information of a financial transaction requester and transaction information; and a step in which the transaction medium generates transaction-associated authentication information based on the acquired authentication information and the transaction information, and transmits the generated transaction-associated authentication information to a financial transaction system. Transaction execution authentication information is specified by the financial transaction system based on execution transaction information on a financial transaction to be executed by the financial transaction system and registered authentication information corresponding to the requester specified by the financial transaction system. The financial transaction is executed by the financial transaction system only when the specified transaction execution authentication information and the transaction-associated authentication information correspond to each other. According to the present invention, there are provided an authentication method and an authentication system which can fundamentally prevent a memory from being hacked.
