The present invention discloses a method for manufacturing a thermoelectric material having a high thermoelectric conversion performance in a wide temperature range. The method for manufacturing a thermoelectric material according to the present invention includes a step of preparing a Cu-Se material; and a step of performing a Cu electroless plating on the Cu-Se material.
