TREATING METHOD FOR MALODOROUS GAS

PURPOSE:To remove malodorous components and waste ozone effectively by a method wherein malodorous gas is washed with alkali and oxidized with ozone. CONSTITUTION:Malodorous gas 1 is contacted with a sodium hydroxide water solution 6 in a packed tower 2, ozonized air 3 is added to the gas washed with alkali, and the gas is similarly disposed by using the said alkali washed waste liquor 7 in the packed tower 4.
