This invention refers to a tunnel kiln with an improved heating and cooling mechanism. The tunnel kiln for use in calcination provides with a spacer(250) for use of a combustion chamber between the uncalcination material which is loading on a calcination flatcar. The heat appts. (20, 21, 33, 39) and the circulating fan are fixed between the circulating gas inlet(17) of the preheating zone and the gas outlet(23) of the high temp. zone. The tunnel kiln is equipped with the duct(18) which is communicated with the inlet, the outlet and the kiln of the preheating zone and the circulating fan(16) which is located to the kiln exterior of the cooling zone.
