The rotary microtome has a micrometer mechanism that is associated with object holding unit (2). A drive is located for the micrometer mechanism for the vertical movement of the object holding device. A frame is located to receive the micron mill and drive. The object holding unit is located outside the casing (1). A rotary actuator (4) is provided to manual drive. A blocking unit (8) is located to block rotational movement of the rotary actuator over a sliding element. |
