PURPOSE:To make the exchanging work of the developer easy by so providing a developer defining member to the housing bottom of the developing device as to be able to be mounted and dismounted. CONSTITUTION:A developer defining member 33 is installed to the bottom of the housing 30 of the developing device in opposition to the sleeve 20 forming a magnetic brush. Thereby, the length of the ear ends of the brush is made constant. If this member 33 is removed from the housing 30 by means of screws 34a..., 34b, the exchanging of the developer in the housing 30 is accomplished by the easy work. The magnetic fluxes whose densities decrease in the order of a developing magnet 22 forming the main magnetic pole, a magnet 23 forming an auxiliary magnetic pole for conveying the developer to the main magnetic pole, magnets 24, 25 for suction of the developer and a magnet 26 for reflux of the developer are formed to the sleeve 20, whereby the good development processing is accomplished. |
