FIELD: metalworking.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal casting. Mold for continuous or semicontinuous casting of melted metal contains frame structure, inlet and outlet holes and leak detection system. Leak detection system comprises signal generator, which provides balanced current to leak sensor, arranged on the perimeter of outlet hole in casting mold or near it, and current detector tracking full resistance of leak sensor. Leak detection system transmits electrical signal indicating state of leak sensor on to programmable controller.EFFECT: higher safety of operator, reduced probability of accidents, reduced probability of equipment damage.30 cl, 10 dwg |
