<p>The system covers window-frames by means of sealing sheet of plastic foil, secured at one end in the cavity wall and bent at the other over the top edge of the frame. The foil is secured to the frame by an L-section profiled member, whose short arm (1) fits over the top frame edge, and a profiled portion (3) working with it, the end of the foil (7) being clamped between the two. The long arm (2) can be nailed or screwed to the frame, the nails etc. being covered by the profiled portion.</p> |
