In an apparatus for raising the stamps (8) used in compressing coking coal, employing lifting discs (10) mounted on lifting shafts (11), the lifting shafts (11) are supported in cranks (1) which are each mounted about the axis (2) of the toothed wheel driving the corresponding lifting shaft (11). Working cylinders (4) act on the lifting shafts (11) and press the lifting discs (10) with the same, constant force against the friction linings (14) of the stamp webs. The contact pressure can be adapted to the necessary frictional force via the working pressure of the cylinders (4). By reversing the power device of the cylinders (4) the lifting shafts (11) with the lifting discs (10) can be lifted off from the stamps (8). <IMAGE> |
