In the vat to apply a wet treatment process to strand textile material, there is a monitor to determine the vol. of material, between the last and the first treatment sections and measure the length after the last section in the direction of material travel before it returns to the first section. This allows the material transport system to give an even and low-tension recirculation of the material. Design allows strand material of a high stretch nature to be given a wet treatment process.
