摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of suppressing temperature rise at the time of electrification, without up-sizing.SOLUTION: A socket side connector 300 includes a contact 310 having a cylindrical contact part 311 receiving the pin-shaped contact part on the plug side. A plurality of grooves 311a for heat dissipation are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical contact part 311. When inserting the pin-shaped contact part on the plug side into the cylindrical contact part 311 of the socket side connector 300, the pin-shaped contact part and cylindrical contact part 311 are connected electrically via a contact element having a plurality of contact pieces. A plurality of grooves 311a for heat dissipation are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical contact part 311. Since the profile of the grooves 311a is regular triangle, and the depth of the grooves 311a is about 75% or less of the thickness of the cylindrical contact part, temperature rise of the cylindrical contact part 311 of the contact 310 of the socket side connector 300 is suppressed at the time of electrification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11A
