PURPOSE:To selectively display the time of the city in a desired area by dividing the world to areas having time differences, providing the switches to be exclusively used to the necessary areas and providing an assigned city setting switch. CONSTITUTION:A timer 7 starts when the display of a display part 5 is switched to the display of another city by the switch 1 or 10. The timer is reset by a control circuit 12 after the specified time. The number of the standard city and the corresponding time difference are then read out of memory circuits 6, 3 and the date, time and number of the fresh city are displayed by the same and the time of the clock 2. The control circuit 12 reads the area number and the corresponding time difference out of the memories 4, 3 and displays the date, time and city number of the assigned city by the same and the standard city time of the clock 2 when the assigned city setting switch 10 is operated in a time adjustment infeasibility mode. The date, time and city number of the assigned city are then displayed by the same and the standard city time of the clock 2 and voice announcement is simultaneously made by means of a memory circuit 13, synthesis circuit 14 and sound producing device 15 for voice information. The time of the arbitrary area is thus known through one action. |
