The rivet is intended to be inserted in a rectangular orifice (2) made in at least one (3) of several components to be connected, so as to prevent a rotation of the rivet with respect to this component. For this purpose it has a collet (6) of square external section. Its use is particularly indicated in the case of blind rivets, in the bodies of which a screw can be screwed. <IMAGE>
