The birthday candle stand can be folded and dismantled, and allows the hygienic mounting of candles on cakes and other types of supports. It comprises a base (1) surmounted by a vertical stem (2), preferably tapered, and supporting a series of unfolding sheets (6) one above the other. Folding anchoring needles can be mounted on the base, and each sheet can be supported by a distance ring, the ring heights varying to give different intervals. The stand can mount a maximum of 100 candles along a spiral pack.
