The machine erects e.g. a fruit-tray, from a flat sheet of cardboard, corrugated paper etc. It includes a frame with a recess of the shape of the bottom panel of the tray into which a piston thrusts the sheet. A number of rotary folding cams are mounted on the frame. One or more of the cams (47) move with a control arm (52) protruding into the recess and thus in the path of the sheet as it is erected, so as to rotate the cam during this operation. |
