PURPOSE:To prevent the stains of recording paper and apparatus installed around a nozzle head by printing ink by a mechanism wherein an ink receiver is mounted to a lower portion of a front wall of the nozzle head and the printing ink flowing down on the front wall of the nozzle head is received. CONSTITUTION:A box-like ink receiver 10 is disposed to the front of a nozzle head 1 so as to cover the whole front wall 1a of nozzle head 1. A window 10a for letting ink drops 7 normally injected from a nozzle 2 pass is mounted to a front wall of ink receiver 10 facing to front wall 1a, and a printing ink discharge port 10b is installed to the bottom of ink receiver 10. Printing ink, which is not normally injected and adheres to and remains on front wall 1a, is received by means of ink receiver 10. |
