<p>The germ-free curtain of air for an operating table is bell shaped and covers the table working area. An air pipe (1) with discharge ports is mounted round the table, and from this germ-free air is discharged upwards into an exhaust channel. The air is then passed through an air conditioning system and back in a germ-free state to the pipe again. There can be a continuous air discharge port in the pipe formed by a lipped slot, giving constant air speed between the slot and exhauster.</p> |
