PURPOSE:To sinter the whole fluorescent body at a time and reduce its fabrication time by coating and drying a fluorescent body on the whole surface and an antireflection fluorescent body on part of this fluorescent body without sintering it when a reflection type fluorescent lamp is fabricated. CONSTITUTION:A conventional fluorescent body suspension is coated on a whole interior surface of a glass tube 1 of an antireflection fluorescent lamp and the first fluorescent body layer 4 is formed. Then, the first fluorescent body layer 4 is formed. Then, the first fluorescent body layer 4 is dried in a atmosphere at 20- 100 deg.C. The second fluorescent body layer 5 is coated on part of this unsintered fluorescent body layer 4 and the fluorescent body layer 5 is dried. Finally the fluorescent body layers 4 and 5 are sintered in a sintering furnace. Since the fluorescent body layer 5 functions as an antireflection layer, the illuminance immediately under the fluorescent lamp can considerably be increased. |
