PURPOSE:To reduce generation of noise and make it possible to produce a magnetic head easily, by making edges of both ends in the opposite side of head gap of a core unparallel to each other in production of the magnetic head where the core is incorporated in a conductive housing. CONSTITUTION:C-type core 4 with winding 3 wound and I-type core 5 are incorporated in incorporating groove 2a of conductive housing 2 consisting of brass, etc. This groove is cut off at non-rectangular theta shifted from matching face 1, and parts 4' and 5' protruded from matching face 1 between incorporated cores 4 and 5 are so polished that they may be in the same face as face 1. Next, housings 2 and 2' where cores 4 and 5 are stored are matched to each other and are fixed by lock nut 10. Thus, edges 8' and 9' in the opposite side of core face 6 of head gap 1 become unparallel to gap 1 respectively, and generation of noise dependent upon edge effects is reduced. |
