PURPOSE:To produce the output signal proportional to the root of square sum of the signal from a plurality of input signals, by combining operational amplifier to semiconductor diode and with a simple constitution adding slight resistor to the combination. CONSTITUTION:The signal voltages V1, V2 are fed to the input terminals 1, 2, they are fed to the diode characteristic circuit A1 via the resistor 11, fed to the diode characteristic circuit A2 via the variable resistor RV and resistor R12, and inverting input and output of operational amplifiers OP-1, OP-2 are connected between the input terminals 11, 12 and the output terminals 21, 22 of the circuits A1, A2 and reference voltage G is fed to non-inverting input of the amplifiers OP-1, OP-2. Further, the output terminals 21, 22 of OP-1, OP-2 are connected to the common junction 3 via the semiconductor diodes D31, D32, diode D4 is connected between the junction 3 and the inverting input of operational amplifier OP-0, reference voltage G is added to the non-inverting input of OP-0, resistor R0 is connected between the inverting input and output terminal, and the voltage V0 proportional to the root of square sum of voltages V1, V2 is outputted to the output terminal 5. |
